Goals
Students interested in local service, especially pre-optometry students, are encouraged to look into the Cedar City Lion’s Club. The SUU Lion’s Club is the first University Lion’s Club in the state of Utah. This organization focuses on sight because of Helen Keller’s commission and is known as the “Knights of the Blind.” They participate in gathering eyeglasses to donate to those in need in third world countries.
