As a UHS student, you are eligible to receive Virtual Job Shadowing (VJS) opportunities through the grant-funded interviews available through the VJS courses at a significantly discounted rate. We are currently offering Virtual Job Shadowing for the following professions:

• Nursing
• Physical Therapy
• Physician Assistant
• Occupational Therapy
• Pharmacy

COMMUNITY HEALTH TALKS

Community Health Talks are rendered by Community Health Workers (CHWs) who discuss various topics on community health and well-being. Discussions during these sessions will help AHEC Scholars gain insights and different perspectives on several community health issues and enhance their understanding through the lived experience of CHWs from diverse backgrounds.

RESEARCH MINI GRANTS 2023

Utah AHEC is now accepting applications for mini-grants of $10,000 to support student-led research projects that focus on health issues affecting socially and economically disadvantaged communities inhabiting rural, tribal and in general under-served areas.
